Making Idea POD From Scratch
There are many videos to guide you to find ideas on Youtube, such as:
- Go to pinterest search “Niche + Tshirt”, “Niche + Quote”…. then look for a tool to sort by pin, find the one with the most hearts and bring it home.
- Or go to Etsy to search like that, then use the tool to check which model has a lot of daily sales and then sell it again
- Or use Tool spy to see what’s trending, see if you can combine it with the Niche you want to do and bring it back, or just clone the screw.
The above methods are not wrong, it used to work, and still works, but it limits you because these are mindsets that find Ideas from the top.
If you pay attention to a tree, if its root is strong, big and strong, it can sprout and sprout dozens, hundreds of other large and small branches and constantly grow bigger and bigger.
The same is true of Ideas, if you cultivate a solid foundation, gradually making ideas will not be difficult at all.
Of course, learning the “real combat” methods from the top is also important, it helps you feel the root more clearly, so I’m not saying which is right or wrong.
OK, Got It, Then How?
The first thing you need to understand is that a campaign win will include many factors, the more win elements you accumulate, the higher the chance of winning.
- Quote win
- Pictures win
- Layout win
- Art win
- Style win
- Trend win
- Engineering Design
- Customer insights
- ….etc and clouds
Each of the above individual factors can also form a Campaign win, but the more factors that accumulate, the higher the win rate will be.
And making quality Ideas is a process.”THINKING” in many steps, in many stages
And an Ideas man will have to find out most of the important elements such as: Layout, Quote, Image, Style, Trend….
Then describe how the Designer can creatively create a beautiful model based on that idea, so having a suitable Designer card is delicious.

It proves that the Quote used in Design is a Quote win, but with more resonance from the beautiful and quality design, the win will be even bigger.

And if you’ve been in the industry for a long time, the template on the right is also copied by many other parties, from the design to the colors, words ….
WTF? SO WHAT IS THE IDEAS HERE, JUST A REDESIGN BRO?
Yeah, at first glance I thought it was, but only I know the process of creating that Design needs a lot of ideas from the ground up.
First I have to understand what that Quote says, why customers like that Quote
After that, I divided the layout on how to express and emphasize each word to emphasize such as: “Defend” “The Constitution”, “Foreign & Domistic”, “Oath”
Then choose and Test between the iconic images of Veteran such as Eagle or Dog Tag? What type of gun? How’s the color?
Then how to communicate and work with Designer to get the final result like that?
Without understanding about Niche, about customers, about important factors, it is difficult to get to such a place.
I made an example of Demo niche Nurse and made an idea with a design like this:

I don’t know if it has Win or not, but I’m sure the quote for this Poster as well as this image is Unique and has never been on the market… until now.
And the way of thinking to come up with an idea like this is what I will guide students, not just … go to pinterest search and then copy it (as the top said)
But the method is the method, the core is still practice and practice gradually.
