Congratulations! You have successfully log in your Amazon Merch account on step 2 and also know how to set up proxy and create a safe environment to log in. You are amazing!! You can look back step 1 & step 2 down below.
Step 3 is the most important step with alot of knowledge. Please take 25 minutes to read this post to the end !!
- When receive account Amazon Merch from Sonny, you should:
- Secure Amazon Merch account after 2 days log in (change password Amazon, add phone number, add bank,…). Reason: Let account familiar with the new IP address.
- Secure email address of Amazon account immediately (change password email address & recovery mail)
Note: You can log in email address on normal browser: Google Chrome. No need log in on Incogniton browser, it is quite slow. On Incogniton browser, work for Amazon only. The rest, do on normal browser, it is faster.
Secure Amazon Merch account is important but secure email address of the amazon account is much more important.

- Once you got hack the email, you loss account Amazon 100%.

- Once you got hack Amazon account, have a chance to recover by using that email to message Amazon.
So Let’s Secure The Email Address On Account
The information of email address is included in the excel file.

Once you has change recovery mail, make sure you go back to the old recovery mail (the mail Sonny supply in the excel file, usually is mailforspam). Open it and delete on the mailbox to make sure noone know which recovery mail you have changed.
If the recovery mail is not “mailforspam”, can be (gmail/hotmail/…), you will message Sonny to guide you.
Some Basic Knowledge Before Doing Change
Fact: Amazon account (https://www.amazon.com/) & Amazon Merch on Demand account (https://merch.amazon.com/) is linked together. So it has the same log in information.
Let’s Sonny clear some point for you:
- If your account has been closed by Amazon before, some information can not be used again included: Bank account number & phone mobile number.
- With bank account number: You can register Wise.com, Payoneer.com, Pingpongx, … they will provide more bank number. No issue!!! Same name, different bank number work perfectly.
- With phone number: You can find a new one to add to account Amazon (phone from any country is okay) or leave it blank. You have 2 step verification is enough.
- Never turn off 2 step verification of Amazon: You can set up a new authenticator code but never turn it off.
- Tax of account that Sonny supply always 0% so customer do not have to upload the tax number again.
Part 1: Instruction To Secure Your Amazon Account
Change Password Amazon
As Sonny has mention, “Amazon.com” and “merch.amazon.com” is linked together with same account information of log in. When you change anything on Amazon.com, It will effect on Merch Amazon website.

- Step 2: Click the “Account & Lists” button in the top right corner of the website.

- Step 3: Click “Login & Security.”

- Step 4: You will see a table with your account details such as: Name, Email, Phone, Password, Authenticator Code,…

- Name: No change it.

- Email: No change it if Sonny not tell you to do.

Do Not Change Personal Infor On Amazon Merch
In the session 1 is change password Amazon and you do on “Amazon.com” setting.
Now, we will find out setting on Amazon Merch by click: “Your account” –> “Mange Your Account”.
It is unnecessary to change personal data such as: name, address,… Just add bank, upload design and start make money online. When you buy account, it will have personal data on it own already, you should not change because Amazon might ask you to verification again.
It will show you 3 sessions in the setting:-

When selling on Amazon Merch, one of the key steps is setting up how you’ll receive payments. Here, we’ll explore the current landscape of popular online payment platforms that can be used to your Amazon Merch account.
Note: Of course, when we add bank, let’s just care about USA bank, another currency, we will not care about it.
In the past, you can use all of this platform to add to Amazon Merch to receive money for multiple Merch Amazon account but it has change in 2025 on some platforms and has a disadvantage which make us will not use it and Sonny will share with you.

Of course, if you register Amazon Merch by yourself, the information such as name is the same with your name on Payoneer, you can use Payoneer.

Historically, Payoneer allowed receiving payments without much care about regarding the account holder’s name. Payments were processed smoothly. But in 2024, new policy, so for transaction above 100$, they will hold your money if the name on Amazon Merch and your Payoneer is different.
Disadvantage:

- No longer support live chat: It is hard to contact Payoneer support, no live chat, email has to wait long time or they even no answer when call.

- Fee: Payoneer charges 1% (meaning if you receive $300 by Amazon, you only receive $297 because 1% of $300 is $3) of the amount you receive and another $3.15 everytime you withdraw from the ATM.

- Payoneer ask for verification when receive lot of money from Amazon: If the payment amount is substantial, Payoneer may now review the account holder’s name and request verification before releasing the funds as below. It is very complicated to verify when they ask. We have to explain alot when met this situation. Mostly is that money will hold and not able to receice it.
Recommendation:

- Existing Users: If you have been using Payoneer without issues, continue using it or change to Pingpongx because right now, if you have different name between Amazon Merch account & Pingpongx, you can still receive money). Sonny has change from Payoneer to Pingpongx all.
You can change normally in Amazon Merch setting, go to bank session and add a new bank then delete old bank.
- Existing Users: If you have been using Payoneer without issues, continue using it or change to Pingpongx because right now, if you have different name between Amazon Merch account & Pingpongx, you can still receive money). Sonny has change from Payoneer to Pingpongx all.

- New Users: Until now, as Sonny research, the verification issues happen to most expericence sellers who is provided lot of USA bank and receive 100,000$ per month. But to avoid problem, Sonny still advice to use alternative platforms below due to the potential verification hassles and fees.

Recommendation: For new users, PingPong is a better option due to its user-friendly policies and zero fees.
Instruction How To Request More Bank USA On PingpongX:

- Step 1: On dashboad, click “Global accounts”

- Step 2: Choose United State bank, click next and keep follow until finish
- Note: In the step to choose your preferred Global Accounts, Sonny recommend to choose “JPMorgan Chase” – When Amazon send you money, it comes right away. Even the name of Amazon Merch account & name on Pingpongx is different, JP Morgan will still approve to let the payment come to Pingpongx balance.
If choose another like “CitiBank”, it still can work well like JPMorgan Chase. But to avoid anything happen in the future with CitiBank, then JP Morgan Chase is your good choice from beginning.
You wonder why Sonny said “anything happen in the future with with CitiBank”?
From March 2025, CitiBank will stricter with the issue: different name on LianLian (another payment platform like Pingpongx). On LianLian, when Amazon send money to Lian, CitiBank will review that payout, if the name on Amazon Merch account, different with LianLian account, they will not let payment come through.
BUT, that is Citibank on LianLian.
Citibank on Pingpongx still allow to let everyone receive money. But to avoid anything happen in the future and effect CitiBank on Pingpongx, JP Morgan Chase is your good choice from beginning.
With “East West Bank”, money come from Amazon might later 2 days and charge fee. No use it

- Verify identity: It taks 1-5 days for Lian Lian to verify.
Hot News:
As of February 19, 2025, Lian Lian announced that starting from March 15, Citibank will implement stricter measures requiring consistency between the store owner’s name and the name on Lian Lian.
To clarify: If you receive payouts from platforms such as Amazon, you will need to provide account information to receive the payout (receiver’s name). This information will be sent to the bank (Citibank). When the bank receives the payout, they will compare the receiver’s name with the name on the Lian Lian account. If the names do not match, the bank will initiate a verification or audit process, or potentially suspend or close the Lian Lian account.
Therefore, for now, Lian Lian may not be suitable for Amazon merchants. If there are any updates, Sonny will provide more information.
Disadvantage:
Fee: Wise charges a small percentage of the total amount being sent as a fee, usually between 0.35% to 2,85%. The exact fee depends on the currencies being exchanged
Recommendation:
- Existing Users: If you have been using Wise without issues, continue using it
- New Users: Until now, as Sonny research, Wise not ask to verify But to avoid problem, Sonny still advice to use alternative platforms due to the potential verification hassles and fees.
- Note: Not many people use Wise to add on Amazon Merch but still can. So we will count this option as a back up plan as Lian Lian.
Pingpong, Lian Lian not support in Europe. Mostly customer in Europe when order, usually use Revolut or Payoneer so this is good choice for those living in Europe.
So, PingpongX is the best payment platform online right now for us who buy Merch account, who has multiple Amazon Merch account.
Lian Lian & Wise is a back up option if you need more bank (in case you have more than 100 accounts).
Payoneer not good as before anymore! For old account, in the past most customer use it. Sonny has adviced to change all to Pingpongx.
Revolut is for customer in Europe using.
Add Bank Account Number To Amazon Merch On Demand Account
On the homepage of Amazon Merch On Demand, you go to setting by click: “Your account” –> “Mange Your Account”
As Sonny has guide above, scroll down, you will see session 2 is “Add Your Bank Account”.
It will show you some information to fill in as the picture below:
You will compare information with the bank information of Payoneer/Pingpong/Lian Lian/ Wise provide you. Sonny will give example of Pingpongx bank because it works well for Merch in 2025.
For example, the picture below is the USA bank Pingpong provide you.
- Where is your bank: Choose United State
- Type of account: Mostly is “Checking”. When you go to Payoneer/ Pingpong/ Lian Lian/ Wise, in the USA Bank, it will let you know type of bank.
- Account Number: That is “Bank Account Number”.
- Routing Numbber: It is 9 Digit Routing Number
- Business Type: Choose “Corporation” ( If you see the name of account is a company LLC), choose “Individual” ( If you see the name of account is a person).
- Date of birth: You can check excel file Sonny sent, it will have column call DOB ( Date of birth). If not see, input random date (enough 18 years old) and note it.
- Account holder name: Input name of account information as Sonny mention above. Not put your personal name.
It will be the name in the session “Full Name”
When adding a bank account to Amazon, it will ask for the “Account holder name.” This should match the name on Amazon Merch setting. Which will be not your name.
When set up, you will use the name appear on “Creator Information” all time. Not use your name (Sound not make sense right? But just need to input bank number, Routing number correct is okay).
Let’s explain the process of Amazon send money to this payment online platform:
You got the earning –> Amazon gather bank information in your setting (Account holder name, bank account number, routing number,…) –> Amazon start to send money to Payoneer/ Pingpong/ Lian Lian/ Wise –> Online payment platform receive money to your account (In this process, some online payment platform will check the information the transfer Amazon sent such as: Name, bank number, routing number).
Base on our set up, we use the name of account information, not your name. Right? And your payment online platform (Payoneer/ Pingpong/ Lian Lian/ Wise is registered with your name.
In the past, all of this payment online platforms not care about that, they receive it, they have money. Good for them. But in 2024, some policy, pressure from goverment has made some policies change. They start to ask us, why the name is not the same with name on that payment online platform.
With customer in Europe, when you get the account, you will change detail of account to yours, and when add bank, Account holder name should be your name!
- Account holder address: Click select existing address, it will show address of account information.
Sometime, Amz update data, postal code will be changed, it will not correct and can not use that address. As the picture below showed
To solve this problem, you just need to search google with format: “Address line 1″+ “City” + “Country” + Postal Code
In this case is: Tichelmeesterlaan 132 zwolle netherland postal code
The result of postal code is: 8014 LD
We will input this postal code to the address, click “use this address”, then “Confirm”.
You keep continue until the step choose marketplace as the picture below appear & you start click on all marketplace.
Then click save, it will tell you delete old bank, so just delete it is ok (it will show status: Pending delete). It is totally OK!

When You Get Amazon Merch Account From Sonny, Should You Add Your Bank Account Immediately To Amazon Merch?
Actually with bank account, when you buy Merch Amazon account, you do not have to add it right away. Let’s Sonny explain to you (This is just from my personal experience).
The purpose is to receive payment from Merch, but have you created sold on the account just bought yet? NOT YET, RIGHT?
So, I recommend that when you have sold, you will add bank to receive payment.
Why?
Because each bank account number (USPS) is value. If you do something wrong like upload trademark design and account close, you add bank soon but not have any payment to your bank yet then account close. It means your bank account number will go to blacklist of Amazon. And if you start with new account, you will not able to use that bank account number again. We waste one bank account number for nothing. I hope you can understand this point!!
SO, JUST ADD BANK WHEN YOU HAVE SOLD ON ACCOUNT. BUT I KNOW, ACCOUNT IS YOURS, SO IT IS YOUR CHOICE TO ADD BANK NOW OR LATER.
